What is Phylactery?
- Phylactery is an Amulet you can wear to gain additional HP, MP, and Heavenly Book Skill.

What are the Types of Phylactery?
- There are 5 Types of Phylactery, each type has a School Restrictions.
(Blood Spell = GK, Oracle = AC, N.Charm = BB, Buddha = HS, Venom = GW)
Phylacteries :

How to choose the best Phylactery?
- You must first look a skill in your Heavenly Book in which you wanna pump up it's level.
(Example: Let's assume you're a GK, the Heavenly Book Skill you wanna pump up is "Divine Fury", then the Phylactery you must wear is "Blood Spell (Divine Fury)".)

How to Craft a Phylactery?
- After you choose what Phylactery to craft, you have to buy a RECIPE or RX.
There are 3 NPCs that sells Phylactery RECIPE:
a. "Dreamland Trvl.Dealer Lu Zhu'er" (Walking NPC at Heyang City).
b. "Dreamland Trvl.Dealer Lu Di'er" (Heaven Sound Map, 8 Immortal Restaurant (212 7)).
c. "Soul of Matchless Hero Lv Chen" (Walking NPC at East Side Island of Torrent Map)

- After you bought your desired Phylactery RECIPE, you have to collect the materials.

- Collect the 5 Elements needed and craft it.
Elements / Materials :

How to gather Materials?
- You can obtain this Materials randomly by opening a certain Lottery Item.
Lottery Items :

- You can get this Lottery Item by exchanging certain Pearl at "Teleport Emissary" (Heyang City (215 161)).
a. Talk to "Teleport Emissary".
b. Choose the Pearl you want to trade.
c. Choose the School which Phylactery you want to craft.
d. Then he will give you a Quest.
e. Talk to him again and you will obtain a Lottery Item.

How to gather Pearls?
- There are 5 Types of Pearl (Gold Pearl, Dazzling Pearl, Earth Pearl, Wood Pearl, Changing Water Drop).
Pearls :

- You can obtain this Pearls by doing various Quests:

Quest #1
Adventure Quest - People in Dream
Level Req. : 46 and above (You should have "Swift Strike" Skill)
NOTE: You can get this quest ONCE a day in a certain time (12:00-1:00 PM, 7:00-8:00 PM, 10:00-11:00 PM - PH Time).

a. Talk to "Dreamland Trvl.Dealer Lu Zhu'er" (Walking NPC at Heyang City).
b. Get the Quest "People in Dream".
c. Go to "Dreamland Trvl.Dealer Lu Di'er" (Heaven Sound Map, 8 Immortal Restaurant (212 7)).
d. Pass the Quest and you will obtain 1 RANDOM Pearl.

Quest #2
Adventure Quest - Between Dreaming and Waking
NOTE: You can get this quest ONCE a day and after you finish "People in Dream".

a. Talk to "Dreamland Trvl.Dealer Lu Di'er" (Heaven Sound Map, 8 Immortal Restaurant (212 7)).
b. Get the Quest "Between Dreaming and Waking".
c. Go to "Dreamland Trvl.Dealer Lu Zhu'er" (Walking NPC at Heyang City).
d. Pass the Quest and you will obtain 1 RANDOM Pearl.

Quest #3
Adventure Quest - Four Literal Treasure
Level Req. : 60 and above
NOTE: You can get this quest ONCE a day.

a. Talk to "Ancient Wizard" (Heyang City (193 124)).
b. Get the Quest "Four Literal Treasures". (Auto-Finish)
c. Talk to him again and get the Quest "The pen, Ink, Paper, Inkstone". (Auto-Finish)
d. Talk to him again and get the Quest "Take 4 Literary Treas. Drawing". (Auto-Finish)
e. Talk to him again and get the Quest "Take 4 Literary Treas. Drawing - Produce *Random*". (Auto-Finish)
f. You will obtain *Random* RECIPE. (There are 4 Types of this RECIPE: Paper, Brush, Inkstick, Inkstone)
Recipes :
g. Collect the Materials listed on the RECIPE.
h. After collecting the Materials, Right Click on the RECIPE and you will obtain 2 RANDOM Pearl and an Extra Item.
i. Talk to "Ancient Wizard" again and exchange the Extra Item for Zhuxian Episode.
Zhuxian Episodes :

Quest #4
Chivalry Quest - Exch. for Five Element Pearl
Level Req. : 90 and above
NOTE: You can get this quest ONCE a day and you should have 400 Chivalry.

a. Talk to "Xiao Huan" (Heyang City (155 146)).
b. Get the Quest "Exch. for Five Element Pearl".
c. Talk to her again, Choose "Exch. for Five Element Pearl", then Choose your desired Pearl and you will obtain 2 Pearl of your choice.

What is Zhuxian Episode?
- The Item "Zhuxian Episode" is ranges from No. 1 to 24.
- Collect 1 Volume of it and exchange for 10pcs Buff Potions.
*Volume 1 = Zhuxian Episode 1 to 8 = Exchange for 10pcs Buff Potions which gives Atk+100 for 1 Hour*
*Volume 2 = Zhuxian Episode 9 to 16 = Exchange for 10pcs Buff Potions which gives MP+1000 for 1 Hour*
*Volume 3 = Zhuxian Episode 17 to 24 = Exchange for 10pcs Buff Potions which gives HP+1000 for 1 Hour*

How to Exchange Zhuxian Episode?
a. Let's assume you collected Episode 1 to 8, Talk to "Ancient Wizard" (Heyang City (193 124)).
b. Get the Quest "Volume 1 of Zhuxian" and you will obtain "Volume 1 of Zhuxian" item.
Volume 1 of Zhuxian :
c. Talk to "Puhong" (Heaven Sound Town (-250 -129).
d. Get the Quest "Zhuxian Reflection - Hardship"
e. "Puhong" will ask you to get the item "Zhuxian Reflection - Hardship" that is located beside him.
f. Pick that item and you will obtain 5 Taichi Gold Elixir and 10pcs Bitter Sea Misery Heart (Atk+100 Buff Potion).
Bitter Sea Misery Heart :
NOTE: Same process for the other Volumes.

How to gather Materials for Four Literal Treasure Quest?
- List of Materials needed per RECIPE :
a. Paper RECIPE : Bark, Ramie, Rotten Fish Net
b. Brush RECIPE : Jade Melting Glue, Green Bamboo, Wolf Hair
c. Inkstick RECIPE : Sandalwood, Carbon Black, Pine Smoke
d. Inkstone RECIPE : Verdure Stone, Fire in Stone, Mud in Thousand-year River Bed

- Locations :
a. Bark : South Boundary - Stone Forest Secret Land (-103 -48) or Normal Fishing
b. Ramie : Paraselene Cave (-224 -408) or Normal Fishing
c. Rotten Fish Net : "Zuo Guanyu" NPC - Quest or Normal Fishing
d. Jade Melting Glue : Paraselene Cave (-224 -408) or Normal Fishing
e. Green Bamboo : Azure Cloud Map - Black Bamboo Forest (-137 396, -134 411, -114 446)
f. Wolf Hair : "Traitor" Monster drop outside Heyang Town
g. Sandalwood : Paraselene Cave (-224 -408) or Normal Fishing
h. Carbon Black : Kunlun Map - Cold Cloud Town (-164 341) or Normal Fishing
i. Pine Smoke : Incense - Occult Fire Altar (-446 86) or Normal Fishing
j. Verdure Stone : Paraselene Cave (-224 -408)
k. Fire in Stone : Not Implemented Yet at ZX PH
l. Mud in Thousand-year River Bed : Torrent - Torrent Water Village (128 -12) or Normal Fishing

Yes. That's right. But Keepsake only gives Gold Pearls.

yes, but still whatever you get from those gold pearls will still be needed to make a phylactery right? So, i hope u can include it also to make this guide more complete so as to minimize double posting or additional post. Thank you..

keepsake give also different kinds of pearls other than gold pearls. is just that ppl do the easiest keepsake quest which gives gold pearl. i know how to get water and fire pearls through keepsake but it takes so much tym to finish

Oh really? I didn't know that. Is there a guide for that? I honestly have a little knowledge about that keepsake thing since it really bores me so I stopped doing that KS since level 60.

i dont know if there are guides that exist for other keepsake quest. i just did what the quest ask me to do

I saw in a forum somewhere the reward pearls for each quest, just can find it right now. Will post it here if i find it.

you can get pearls every 10 times you do the quest from lvl 60

About the elements you need, I just need EARTH Element of Elemental Ward to make a phylac. But unfortunately, I will not sell it.
Though I have spare Buddha's Heart Elements. You might be interested.
(IMO, Buddha's Heart phylac is the best phylac for HS in the end game

Why not have both.
Equip Elemental Ward before you start buffing, then switch to Buddha's Heart after.
Buddha's Heart will be the main phylac, and Elemental Ward as a booster of your +atk buff.
Buddha's Heart : At level 3, Decrease 60% CD of Thunder Oracle. 16 sec CD minus 60% is equal to 6.4 sec. Hmmm yummy!

How much are you willing to sell your buddha's heart?
