hehe! yeah you're right mr. simangot. qtel(hell hole) blocked the torrent site i was downloading movies from!!!

Hmm, I on the other hand protect our network via firewall web-filtering. That means I'm the one who blocks certain websites from our users para di ma abuse network namin.

Maybe I'll just have to find out what port number is being used by this software so I can block that port in our firewall.

Knowing what methods are available out there such as this is precious for my job function, so I thank you for this

At work, pasaway ako. Bawal magbrowse at kung ano2 gawin na non work related pero dahil sa software na ganyan at bukod dyan pwede ring proxy sites, malaking tulong. Downloading torrent will be the big thing kasi malakas kumain ng bandwidth yun eh unless monitored mo talaga. Suggest ko sayo bro since mukhang sa IT dept ka sa office, try mong makipagcoordinate with some people in different dept. like guards or so if talagang illegal yan sa company nyo. Ganun ginawa samin, so far effective except for me lol. INCOGNITO mode of google chrome will never let me down and with the help of proxy sites...

Thats the best free software nga daw as sabi sa promotions at links pero if you want the best talaga kaso di sya free proxyfire which have a hell lot of features and options and also Tor.
Pero if you want yung easy to use talaga eh yang post hotspot shield parin.

ako nga mismo, being the admin, is particulary bypassing the policy myself esp to play ZX at office. Pero I don't abuse the network by utilizing bandwidth heavy applications like torrent etc.

Periodic user audits (SW audit and clean-up) and policy implementation would prevent such abuse in conjunction with the exisiting security technology solutions.

nasubukan q ata yang proxyfire.. pang advance user ata un.. nagtry aq non.. grabe! mabuang ata aq non.. ala pnman aq mxadong idea pagdating sa networking..

hindi ko gusto yung minninova hehe. anyway, okay na naman ulit dun sa torrent site na like ko. hindi na siya blocked ng qtel. may topak ata ang qtel eh hehehe!

Some IT peeps messed up my PC and installed some crappy software detection program na nagfoforward ng mga ginagawa sa PC, coincidence or???
baka andito ka sa company ko Jack75 ah waaa!

I doubt na you belong in the same company as Jack. As far as I know si Jack lng ang net-admin na pasaway sya lng ang naglalaro sa company nila. Magaling manghuli yan si jack sa sobrang galing nya hindi nya mahuli sarili. Peace

hahaha may program din na makikita kung anu gagawa mo sa desktop mo kahit ngaun kung babasa mo e2ng forum lilitaw sa monitor nila hehehe anu nga pl ung program na un kalkalin ko muna sa misc ko LOL

hala ka booter, na-detect na cguro ang pagiging pasaway mo. nalaman nila na isa ka sa top internet user via their network analyzer if they have any. but them to be able to do actual visibility, may ininstall syo na agent SW probably.

Yun agent SW siguro reports back to their server kung anong mga naka-install sa PC mo. Or much worse, it's something that will remotely access your PC and see what you are actually doing. (I can do it here).

Hehehe, pero no worries. I don't think ako yun or ikaw yun. Although I remember installing recently an agent for someone sa kabilang department para ma-support ko s'ya remotely and also know what he's doing.

Yeah I've seen it in the policies folder in my registry. HKCU,
nakita ko rin na may nakatago sa msconfig, salamat sa hijackthis.
Kung ikaw yung IT di dapat much far aware sya sa capabilities ng pasaway na tech na need nila bigyan ng admin access eh which di nga kaw yun. VNC gamit dito hehe, sabi ng antivirus ko spyware software.
